今天是中國農曆新年的第一天。我想藉此機會，祝福大家有個順心如意的一年及馬年行大運! 新年的傳統習俗之一是所有家庭成員在一起慶祝, 我真誠地邀請每個蓋城成員, 包跨所有語言或課外活動班的學生或家長, 一起來參加這個星期日(2/2) 的中國新年慶祝活動, 活動將於下午1點由豐盛的年菜開場  (12:30開始設置) , 還有精彩的表演, 攤位和豐富的抽獎活動. 請大家別忘記帶一道最好的拿手菜，甚至一份獎品來與所有的蓋城人分享。

順便提醒可以幫助佈置場地的義工, 或是想要獲得SSL社區服務學分的學生, 請在12:30到。 並和董事長James 直接聯繫。

Dear GCS family members,

 Today is the 1^st day of Chinese New Year.  I want to take this opportunity to wish each one of you health and peace in the year of Horse.  This is a reminder that we’re going to have our Chinese New Year celebration this coming Sunday from 1 (door open starts at 12:30pm)  to 4pm.  As you know, it is a tradition to have all family members together to celebrate the New Year.  I sincerely invite each and every one of the GCS family members, including all language or extracurricular students and parents to join us for this special celebration.  Please don’t forget to bring a special dish, or  prize to share with the GCS families.    

Just a friendly reminder for those of you who can help set up the event or students who want to earn SSL hours,  please come to school at 12:30pm and let Mr. James Wang, President of the Board, know in advance.
