新年行大運，預祝大家都有個平安喜樂的一年！

依董事會決議，從2012年春季班開始，學費將調整為每人每學期$225美元。調漲幅度為12.5%。特說明如下：

1. 校舍租用費，蒙郡每年調整，光是從去年到今年，就增加了約7%。

2. 校舍租用時間增長，從去年十一月起，每週曰上課前後，各增加15分鐘，供老師課前準備及課後整理，大約25%的增加。

3. 教學材料的費用增加。

依註冊組賴生南董事報告，學費從2008年起，就未調整過，為學校財務健全計，學費將調整為$225。若有任何問題，請與各位董事或我連繫。謝謝您的繼續支持！

Dear GCS families,

I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year!

The GCS Board of Directors had decided to raise the tuition to $225/Semester starting the Spring Semester, 2012.  The 12.5% increase of tuition was considered necessary due to the following reasons:

1. Montgomery County Government had been raising the facility rental fee every year and the latest increase was 7% last September.

2. GCS had added 30 minutes (15 minutes before class and 15 minutes after class) to the classroom rental starting last November in order to provide our teachers more time for teaching preparation.   That’s 25% increase of our facility rental cost.

3. The cost increase of teaching materials.

The purpose of this change is for maintaining the financial stability of GCS since we have not raised the tuition for the last three years.  Please contact me or any member of the Board of Directors if you have any question or concern.  Thanks for your support!
