親愛的蓋城家庭成員們，大家好!

希望大家今天晚上都有個很愉快又安全的萬聖節夜晚！請不要忘記明天是我們蓋城中文學校一年一度的萬聖節化妝遊行。希望所有大朋友小朋友都要帶你們的萬聖節裝扮帶來學校。我們會在點心時間有個小小的展示遊行。我會準備糖果分送給大家。如果你們家裡有些太小不能穿得萬聖節裝扮服裝，希望你也可以帶來送給比你低年級的學弟妹。

我要提醒大家:日光節約時間在今天晚上結束。請不要忘記今晚睡覺前把時鐘調後一個小時，也請所有的家長在這個周末要記得更換煙火偵測器的電池， 以保安全!

天氣漸漸轉涼！嘴饞的時候，有什麼比傳統台灣家鄉口味的牛肉乾，豬肉乾 魷魚絲，魷魚片更好的呢? 我們的寶島食品慕款活動這個星期要截止了。如果有興趣的 請參考附件的選購單明天向游昭松訂購。我們會直接跟製品廠集體購買。請大家告訴大家! 多多支持我們的學校。

Dear  GCS family members,

I hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween evening. I would like to remind you that GCS will have our annual Halloween parade during the snack time tomorrow. Please remember to bring you costume to show off during the parade tomorrow. I hope everyone will participate this costume parade. If you have costume that is in good condition but it is too small for you. Please bring them to school tomorrow to give to other students who may be able to use it next year.

This is to remind all parents and students that the day light saving time ends tonight. Please don't forget to turn back your clock one hour before you go to bed tonight. Also, parents, please remember to change the battery of your smoke detector this weekend for the safety of your family.

Our Formosa Food fundraising will end this week! Attached please find the ordering form. The weather is getting chillier by the day. What would be better to nibble on other than the familiar Taiwanese taste of beef/pork jerky and cuttlefish snacks! If you are interested in ordering but haven't done so, please bring in your order form and check to Mr. Chaosung Yu tomorrow. We will collect all requests and order directly from the manufacturer in Iowa.
