在這裡要提醒大家，蓋城中文學校在這個星期天(2/14)要舉辦一年一度的新年聯歡慶祝活動。由於蒙郡場地安排的問題，我們今年的慶祝活動將在Ridgeview Middle School (16600 Raven Rock Dr, Gaithersburg, MD 20878) 舉行。請大家告訴大家，攜朋皆伴一起來參加，不要走錯了地方!  

跟往年一樣，我們會以potluck的聚餐方式舉行。希望大家可以利用這個機會 大展廚房手藝，將你的拿手菜，好好的秀一下。在聚餐之後，我們也會依照貫例，由各班輪流表演活動。在表演穿插之間，我們還會有摸彩。我和董事們以經準備了一些抽獎禮物，台灣駐美沈大使也提供了倆張禮卷以供抽獎。為增加活動趣味性，也希望各位家長可以提供一些小禮物供抽獎用，多多益善。

Dear  GCS family members,

I want to remind you that Gaithersburg Chinese School will have our annual Lunar New Year Celebration this coming Sunday (2/14). Because Quince Orchard High School facility is not available that day, we will have our celebration at Ridgeview Middle School (16600 Raven Rock Dr, Gaithersburg, MD 20878) instead. You are welcome to bring your friends and family with you. Please be sure you come to the right place on Sunday.

As usual, we will start our celebration with a potluck at 1 p.m. sharp. This is an opportunity for you to show off your cooking skill and share your best dishes with your friends at the Gaithersburg Chinese School. After the lunch, we will have exciting performances by our students. We will also prepare some small gifts for lucky winners, which include gifts prepared by me and the Board members, as well as two giftcards donated by the Taiwanese Ambassador for our school. In order to increase the excitement of the price drawing so that most of people can get something, your contribution of small wrapped gifts are greatly appreciated.
